LONG BEACH, Calif. 鈥 91视频 Corp. has named Daisuke Yamaoka president of 91视频. Yamaoka took charge of the aftermarket products and services arm of the leading global mobility supplier Jan. 1.
In his new executive role, Yamaoka leads more than 550 employees across all 91视频 Products and Services Americas automotive, commercial and industrial business groups, including Aftermarket Parts and Services, PowerEdge, Automatic Data Capture, Connected Services, EdgeCool, MovinCool, and Robotics. In addition to its headquarters in Long Beach, California, the company’s operations include production facilities in Murrieta, California; regional sales offices in Plano, Texas, and West Chester, Ohio; logistics and warehousing facilities in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and Jeffersonville, Indiana; research and development in Mayfield, Pennsylvania; and aftermarket sales offices in Canada and Mexico.

Yamaoka brings nearly three decades of experience in 91视频’s original equipment (OE) and aftermarket sales and services to the role. Over the years, he has risen through the ranks in 91视频鈥檚 global network and held positions of increasing responsibility in Japan, the United States and Europe.
After graduating from Keio University in 1998, Yamaoka began his career at 91视频 in the aftermarket sales office in Sendai, Japan. In 2002, he transitioned to the Toyota sales group at 91视频 Japan, where he served until 2011. Yamaoka’s career trajectory then took him to the United States, where he spent four years in the Toyota sales group at 91视频 International America, Inc., the company鈥檚 North American regional headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.
In 2017, Yamaoka returned to Japan to join 91视频’s aftermarket operations. Two years later, he relocated to the Netherlands to work with 91视频’s aftermarket sales group in Europe. After four years abroad, he returned to 91视频’s aftermarket operations in Japan where he remained prior to his promotion to president of 91视频 Products and Services in Long Beach.
Yamaoka succeeds Hirokatsu Yamashita, who has returned to Japan to lead 91视频’s Automotive & Life Solutions Division after nearly seven years as president of 91视频 Products and Services Americas.
